A completely new brake and clutch system has been installed.

Rebuilt Ashcroft transmission.

A rebuilt transmission from Ashcroft is installed. It has their big bearing upgrade and high ratio fifth gear so you can cruise at a speed higher than 65 mph.

New wiring harness by Autosparks.

The new wiring harness has been installed. This unit is manufactured by Autosparks. The early 80s trucks have a very simple straightforward wiring harness but unfortunately had glass fuses that would corrode and cause intermittent electrical problems. This new harness has the later style blade fuses but is still a nice simple harness.

Genuine Land Rover sliding windows.

Genuine Land Rover sliding windows have been installed which help give the interior a light airy feel and extra ventilation on hot days compared to the original van like interior.

Genuine door latch handle.

This drilled rear door latch handle is a slight departure from the original but it is a genuine Land Rover unit.

New plastic fuel filler neck and cap.

A new plastic fuel filler neck and cap is installed.

Rust resistant door hinges.
